The wedding discussion has brainwashed me for sure. Although I’m not the one getting married, exactly the night after the meeting, I slept and dreamt of my own wedding.
However, I didn’t get to see the face of my groom. Only two men I saw - none of them were my groom though. Within, I fought to choose which hand to hold. Still, face glowing, they seemed happy.
But for me, deep inside I realized I wasn’t that happy. For I know I was not ready to be given away...
Perhaps, this was due to me being so attached to him.
Or possibly because I’m just 19 - too young to get married?

My friend got engaged when he was 19...but that's coz it was something like an arranged marriage thing.
But he liked the girl...so it wasn't a big deal. (^.^)

In some cultures, 19 is not too young to get married. It's just nice. The question is whether the person is ready to hold the responsibility of being a husband, wife and parent later.
We may be biologically ready, but mentally, we are not. So, take your time... maybe in a few years you'll meet that special someone - maybe sooner. No one can tell.
Whatever you do, don't force or be forced into marriage - that is a BIG mistake :)
